My first post of the new year and January is nearly over already! Being busy with work it seems like the past 4 weeks didn't even exist. The pervasive hot weather hasn't helped in differentiating the days from one another, either. Despite the high humidity we've received only 8.4mm of rain, which is less than one tenth the average - everything looks dry and tired. The nights have been restless and uncomfortable too, with occasional sleep dominated by dreams of a winter spent in the snow. *stares away vacantly*
