Delving into the archives this time! Recently I went through some photos from some time ago in Melbourne and came across these two, taken on the same day. I love the contrast in Melbourne; you need only walk 10 metres to find a entirely different feel, old and new intermingled. It must be nothing when compared with other cities around the world, though. Whereas Melbourne began as a settlement little more than 170 years ago, Paris has a history spanning two millennia. That's a lot of time for things to change and evolve.

A couple of cheap second-hand lenses courtesy of eBay, disassembled for interest and fun. There's been a noticeable change in the weather lately, the cooler nights creeping in. I'm not making the mistake of last year: there's a flu vaccination lined up for tomorrow.
