Back in Paris, the final afternoon of walking around before heading home tomorrow! Just visited Notre Dame; police everywhere near Conciergerie. Off to walk the Champs-Elysées and then back to the hotel to get some sleep! 24 hours of flying ahead, argh!

From the Netherlands down through Belgium to Brugge and now back in France at the tourist port town of Calais, where the "white cliffs of Dover" can be seen and the huge ferries are arriving and departing endlessly.

Visited the war cemetery this morning, then travelled west to the Netherlands and currently looking at the traditional windmills used for water pumping in Kinderdijk. Clever design!

Currently in Kleve after a long day of driving in the rain (some of which was at 195 km/h though). Tomorrow morning we're visiting the Reichswald war cemetery, just outside Kleve, where a relative is buried. Then, into the Netherlands.
